When you can't decide .....

Hi everyone! Thanks for the lovely comments you left as regards my framed Happy Hearts Sampler and ornament finish. Since I last posted it seems like I’m having a case of ‘startitis’. Not something that usually strikes me but here I am with several things on the go. First up, is BBD’s Glad Tidings. This one has been in my stash for a while. Not sure what the fabric is, it’s something that I’ve had for years, all I can tell you is that it’s 32ct and feels like R&R but I’ve no idea what the colour is – it looks paler in this photograph but really it’s a mottled tan colour. When I pulled out what I had in my fabric stash this was the one that seemed to work best with the suggested overdyeds.

I’ve also started this one, Not Forgotten Farm’s Grey House. I’m using the suggested colours and stitching it on 32ct lambswool.

And last but not least …. BBD’s Tulip House Stitching Companion. I’m stitching this on 30ct R&R Café Kona with the suggested overdyeds.

Here are two of my monthly finishes from last month. The fifth block from PS 12 Days of Christmas and the May pillow from Nikyscreations Primitive Calendar. Don’t ask how I’m getting on with those planned monthly stitches for June – nothing even started yet.

It’s good to know that I’m not alone with a comments ‘issue’. I’m finding it still happening so hopefully whatever glitch is going on will soon be sorted out. My followers bit has been gone for weeks but I’m seeing that happening on other blogs too.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend. While some parts of the UK have been enjoying a sunny June it’s just not happening around here. Most days are cool and cloudy and seems like it rains at some point each day. There are some hardy souls determined to try and look summery in their t-shirts and shorts no matter how chilly it is. Don’t know how they do it!

Until next time ……..

Your followers are actually there. Just not for you for some reason. Blogger's issues are really weird these days!

Love all your new starts! Such great choices, and they're all so pretty! I think my favorite is the Not Forgotten Farm piece though. So cute!

I love your new starts Lois. Looking forward to watching them grow.

Lovely finishes too.

It's freezing up here too and it's just started to rain. Still we need it badly.

My followers disappeared again yesterday but they are back now. I seem to getting a fair amount of comments on my stitching blog but not sure if anyone is having bother leaving them. I know they are on my other blog.

WoW! What great starts you have. Of course, I love all things BBD but I really like your Not Forgotten Farm piece. So sweet! Great job on the little pillow and the 12 days!

It's cool and cloudy in Michigan today. Enjoy your stitching time.

I love, love all your starts! I think that having startis is a good thing once in a while. Then you can work on one until you're tired of it and then go to another one. What fun!

Yes, blogger is still being a pain and sometimes my comments end up going somewhere - it makes me so mad!

Some great starts there! and a couple of great finishes too. Did I tell you that because of your Happy Hearts even before it was framed inspired me to order it? Yours is beautifully framed.
Blogger is trying to get the problems fixed :(

Wow! Loads of great starts! I really like the first one by BBD and the Tulip house piece too. The colours of the tulip is so soft and delicate. I also had my followers disappear like magicians, but they are back now! I haven't had any problems with comments on my part. Not sure though if people have had problems with mine though. Hopefully they will sort it out soon!

Wonderful starts and finishes Lois. Wish I could send some of our "heat" your way. It has been miserable here with the heat and humidity.

Lovely stuff this time and last! Happy Hearts looks great all done and framed, and the jingle bell is the perfect touch on your HE Santa. :D

Such a gorgeous trio of starts, Lois! And your little finishes for May are so cute, too...

I do hope you get some sunshine soon--we had a couple of 90+ degree days last week and they just about did me in! The older I get, the less I can deal with the heat and humidity...

Hope your week is relaxing and stitch-filled :)

Boy, Lois you are really busy! I love them all! I think what attracts me to a certain piece more than anything is the colors - how the thread looks against the linen. Sometimes I can't wait to start a new project just to see how the colors will look.
Please, please send us some of your rain and cool weather!

Oh, oh, oh, I can sooo understand this case of startitis. When it becomes too difficult to decide - which is no wonder with these exciting projects - you just have to follow your heart and start all of them. Great WIPs indeed.

WOW! Beautiful starts and love the charts you are stitching. Hot and humid here in Southwest Florida. I cannot remember the last time it rained; everything is so day and parched. I too have been having blog problems. Looking forward to seeing progress on your starts.
