Hi everyone! Time for an update I think. Stitching goings-on around here have mostly been me stitching on BBD’s LF Autumn and Christmas Garden when I get the chance. I picked Christmas Garden up again a couple of days ago and this is where I’ve got too.
As for BBD’s LF Autumn, I need to get started on stitching the large bird but have to admit that it’s not filling me with much enthusiasm at the moment so there's been more than a little bit of procrastination going on.
Time to knuckle down and just get on with it! I do want to spend a few more days on Christmas Garden before picking this one up again but, hopefully next time I blog, I’ll have the bird completed. The Winter chart arrived through my letterbox a couple of days ago and I'm full of enthusiasm to stitch that part so I'm hoping that that's going to be the added incentive I need to focus the mind on some bird stitching!
Until next time!

Your Christmas Garden is beautiful. The more I see of this the more I'm loving it. The colours are so pretty.
Nice progress on your Autumn BBD too. I'd like to start mine this year. Have to admit that the winter one is my favourite of the three!
Great start on CG Lois, and the autumn is lovely too. The Winter is wonderful, I just got that in:))
Have a lovely week stitching!
Christmas Garden looks beautiful. I love the colors! I have to admit it's very hard to put down!! After seeing your Loose Feathers, I need to get mine out and get going on it, as well. It's going to be so worth the effort when it's done!
Happy stitching!
Linda
Great going on both - isn't CG irresistible? :-)
Christmas Garden is so pretty with the rich colors! Autumn is lovely too!
Gorgeous work Lois!!
Christmas Garden looks beautiful. Every stitch will be worth the effort when it is finished.
Very pretty, Lois!! Both of them are. I am finding it hard to not give in & start them both but need to finish up a few things around here first. Maybe put a few stitches into the bird and reward yourself by working on the Christmas Garden?
Very lovely stitching on both projects.
oooo lovely christmas garden and well done on your progress with the loose feathers ... I do like the charts :) love mouse xxxx
Both pieces are beautiful! I have a special fondness for the Christmas Garden though -- gorgeous!
Great start on Christmas Garden
Wonderful progresses on your BBDs!
I love the colours of Christmas Garden!!

Lovely start on Christmas Garden! And Autumn is really coming along. I can see how the bird can be daunting since it's so big but if you tackle it a little at a time, you'll be done in no time!
I love your progress. Better get busy because in just another month or so they all go to market you know.
Both of your projects are looking gorgeous.
both look lovely, and you are really making me want to start both of mine! I have the thread pack for Christmas Garden on order already! but I'm trying to be good and not start it just yet, until I finish off a few other things first! :O)
I look forward to seeing more progress on your two projects
Oh, I think this is going to be BBD year for me! You are definitely one of the enablers! Everything is looking fabulous. I hear Christmas Garden is highly addictive! Have fun!
Aren't the BBD patterns wonderful! Love them both1
Beautiful progress on both projects. Its been so fun to see different stitchers work on Christmas Garden, so many have started in different places.
On the Autumn piece, get past the big bird, and then the more you stitch around it the better it will look. I'd admit I wasn't a fan of it when I first saw the chart, but then once I saw the picture of the whole piece, with Winter, the big Autumn bird didn't look so out of place.
Your start on Christmas Garden is just beautiful!
I picked up Autumn this summer not realizing it was a three part LF. Recently added Winter and am waiting for Summer. :) I admit, that is a big bird on that part, but I know you will get it done. :) Can't wait to see it all finished.
Every time I see bits of Christmas Garden it makes me want to do it too, SO lovely!
Both of these are just gorgeous Lois! I can see where that large bird would be a bit intimidating.
Love both pieces!!!! I really need to get back to my Loose Feather piece.
Yes, that large bird does appear a bit formidable, Lois!! But, you can do it!! I'm just in love with your Christmas Garden WIP--glad you are enjoying it so much.
Enjoy your weekend, my friend! And thank you again for making my birthday such a memorable one!!!
Wow, Lois! You are some fast stitcher! I love the Christmas Garden, the colors are just lovely!
I see that the 'birds' are coming right along, too...!
I can picture your home looking like
a cross stitch museum.
This is such a pretty pattern -
Your CG is beautiful! Your pictures are making me what to stash it. I'm not sure how long I can resist...
Both pieces looks just gorgeous. Congratulations.
Can't wait to see how it looks when you have finished.I am also doing a sampler ..it's taking a bit of time because at the moment I have a whole lot of different things on the go...ciao Alison

They are both looking gorgeous, I'm getting increasingly taken with Christmas Garden as I see peoples wips.
