As another weekend approaches...

Hi everyone!  I took a little break from Christmas Garden in the last day or two and picked this one up again…

The third block now completed on PSS Halloween Hornbook Sampler.  I’ve enjoyed the bit of a break from Christmas Garden’s colours and stitching with these stronger autumn ones.  Love how this one is turning out and that I’m staying on track with a block a month (now if I could just get motivated to stitch a Christmas ornament this month!!!!).

A little more on Christmas Garden ….

Here’s how the whole piece is looking now.  I’ll be picking this one up again over the weekend and the next two motifs to be stitched are probably going to be my favourites in the whole piece.

Thanks for all the lovely comments you left last time round complimenting Margaret’s quilt.  I told her to make sure to read all the comments and she was very chuffed (and surprised) at how many people had taken the time to make mention of it.

Almost the weekend!  Where do the weeks go?!?!? I hear it’s another IHSW weekend.  I haven’t signed up but, if you have…..enjoy!!!!

Until next time……

Christmas garden is looking fabulous. So many hours of stitching must have gone into it, but I fully understand why you're itching to stitch smalls!
The PSS Halloween sampler is a 'must stitch' for me. I'm looking forward to seeing how you progress with it.
I can't believe we're nearly into May...where has this year gone???

Christmas Garden is looking fabulous and the Halloween piece is a nice change of pace. Love the colors in both of these pieces. And isn't that what makes stitching fun - so much pretty stuff to chose from!

Christmas Garden is lookin' great! I wish I had that much stitched. I'm pretty much still in the upper left hand corner.

Have fun with the hornbook. It is a fun stitch.

Oh, your Christmas Garden looks great! And more progress on your Halloween piece too - nice!

I am looking forward to some sunshine this weekend. It's here right now but not forecasted to stay so I am just going to go out and soak it up!

Have a good weekend, Lois!

I'm glad you're enjoying your little break from full-time Christmas Garden stitching, Lois. The Halloween Hornbook Sampler is darling and that fabric is perfect with it.

I don't know where the time is going. I was just at the dentist today and he said, "It seems like you were just here yesterday" and yet it had been six months! We both agree that as we get older, time just goes ever faster...

Hope you enjoy your weekend, my friend :)

PSS Halloween Sampler lookis like a fun piece to stitch. It is nice to take a little break and work on something different when you are in the midst of a larger piece. 'Christmas Garden' is beautiful! Recently I purchased the chart and have the linen and threads waiting for me at my LNS.

Blessings!
